At Pikt, we redefine coastal and hinterland luxury through high-impact, bespoke botanical styling. Operating from our beautiful boutique studio in the Byron Arts & Industrial Estate, Creative Director Caroline fuses a 26-year international career with an uncompromising artistic standard to design immersive event environments for an elite clientele.

From the Land to the Boutique

While our creative headquarters now sits within Byron's premier creative and design precinct, our roots remain deeply connected to the earth. Caroline was born and raised on our private 17-acre family estate in the heart of the Byron Shire, which serves as the agricultural anchor for Pikt. On this hinterland property, we meticulously cultivate our own boutique, specialized flower crops. Harvesting rare textures and premium seasonal blooms directly from our own soil allows us to bring an exclusive tier of freshness and provenance into our designs.

To execute our grandest visual concepts, we pair these estate-grown elements with hand-selected stems from premier Australian growers and elite international imports. Our beautiful, industrial boutique space provides the perfect modern canvas where clients can surround themselves with beautiful florals.

An Elite Global Pedigree

Caroline’s immersion into the botanical world began in early childhood, mentored by grandparents who were exceptional horticulturalists. Surrounded by fields of heirloom roses and wild, texturally rich landscapes, she developed an early fascination with botanical form, leaving traditional paths to pursue professional floral design from the age of 16.

Her distinguished 26-year career has since crossed global borders, designing for high-end destination markets in BC, Canada and the demanding, high-pressure alpine wedding industry of Queenstown, New Zealand. Navigating these vastly different microclimates and luxury tiers allowed Caroline to hone an advanced mastery of color theory, heavy rigging logistics, and editorial spatial design.

The Aesthetic Standard

Rejecting predictable wedding trends and dated aesthetics, Caroline views floral design as temporary living sculpture. She continues to find inspiration along the winding roads of the Byron hinterland, searching for unique movements, dramatic foliage lines, and unexpected tones to fuel her next large-scale design.
